# CheckBridge

> CheckBridge is a web app that prints QuickBooks Online checks on blank check stock for any number of bank accounts and companies. It pulls checks marked "Print later" from QuickBooks Online, prints the bank details and MICR line on each one, assigns the check numbers, and marks them printed back in QuickBooks. Nothing to install.

## Who it is for
- Small businesses that pay bills by check from QuickBooks Online and are tired of buying preprinted checks for each bank account.
- Businesses with several bank accounts (operating, payroll, escrow) or several companies.
- Bookkeepers and accountants who print checks for many client companies and need per-client access control for staff.

## What it does
- Connects to QuickBooks Online (OAuth). Reads checks and bill payments marked "Print later".
- Prints on standard blank voucher check stock (8.5" x 11", check on top, middle or bottom, two stubs) with any laser printer.
- Prints the bank name, fractional routing number, E-13B MICR line (routing, account and check number), company name, address and logo.
- Assigns the next check number per bank account, then writes the check number into QuickBooks and marks the check printed.
- Reprint flow for checks that jam or misprint; history of every batch.
- Add a bank account by typing it in or by photographing an existing check; the MICR line is read in the browser. Photos can be taken on a phone and sent to the computer with a QR code.
- Check designer: logo, font, accent color, one or two signature lines, printer alignment offsets.
- Multiple logins per account; the owner chooses which companies each person can access.
- Works in any modern browser; no download.

## Not supported yet
- QuickBooks Desktop, Xero and other accounting systems.
- Electronic payments (ACH); CheckBridge prints paper checks.
